Phi Mu Alpha

Musical Performance Class

On November 19th, our residents had the opportunity to participate in a musical performance! The performance was led by Bryan Hotchkiss and PhI Mu Alpha, a music club at University of Redlands. The performers from the Sinfonia Delta Pi chapter consisted of 15 male volunteers who sang, played musical instruments, and gave the patients live instruction on playing each of their instruments. The residents were able to touch the instruments and look at each one up-close as the group taught a quick lesson – just like a music class! The kids smiled, laughed, cheered, and even danced as the music was played. The staff and several family members joined in on the fun as well, and shared how they enjoyed the performance. We would like to say a big thank you to Bryan and Phi Mu Alpha for a fun and memorable experience!
