Three of our residents recently had the chance to enjoy an exciting outing to the Discovery Cube in Orange County. It was a day filled with exploration, connection, and joy.
From exhibits such as sand and water play to hands-on science activities, our residents were able to explore each exhibit in their own way and had the best time. Outings like this provide not only learning opportunities but also moments of independence and curiosity that are so valuable.
One of the sweetest highlights of the day happened when a resident noticed another boy wearing the same shirt he had on. With a big smile, he went up to the boy, pointed to his shirt and then to his own, and just like that, a connection was made. This special moment is a wonderful reminder of why these outings matter so much.
With plenty of space to stretch their legs and so many exhibits to explore, the day was filled with smiles, discovery, and fun.
