Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming our local AMR team to Totally Kids as part of the nationwide Read Across America celebration. The visit brought smiles, stories, and a special opportunity for our residents to connect with members of their community.
The AMR team spent time reading stories with the children, creating a relaxed and engaging environment where residents could listen, enjoy the books, and share the moment together. Story time is always a favorite activity, and having special visitors made the experience even more meaningful.
Following the reading, residents had the opportunity to see the ambulance up close. For many of the children, it was exciting to see the vehicle they often notice in the community and learn more about the people who help others during emergencies.
Experiences like this help create memorable moments for our residents while also introducing them to the helpers who serve our community every day. It was a wonderful way to celebrate reading, connection, and community involvement.
