A Family Centered Emphasis

A Family Centered Emphasis

We find that when we partner together with families, amazing things happen. We play, we touch, we care. Together. This "connecting" is one of the many things that makes us different. That’s why we provide a family-friendly environment and why we encourage parent and sibling participation in the care of the child.  Our goals are your goals and we work with you to transition your child to home, whenever possible.

Medical Leadership

Anh Vu Le, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer
Subacute Medical Director

Dr. Anh Vu Le has been serving as medical director for Totally Kids’ subacute medical program since July 2022, directing care for what has become a national model for enriching the health and quality of life for children with clinically complex conditions. A graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Dr. Le completed his pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and then remained at LLUCH to work as a pediatric hospitalist at LLUCH and its community hospital sites at White Memorial Medical Center and Desert Regional Medical Center.

“I enjoy working in academic medicine because it provides the opportunity to teach medical students and residents while continuing to challenge myself to learn and grow personally and professionally,” he says. “Working at both the children’s hospital and a long-term care facility with acute rehab has allowed me to learn more about caring for children with medical complexity and the coordination of care needed to safely transition patients out of the hospital to their home environment.”

Dr. Le grew up in Anaheim and holds an undergraduate degree Physiological Science from UCLA. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and dog, trying new foods, exploring nature, hiking, photography and playing/watching sports (basketball, football and tennis).

Thaddeus Wilson, M.D.

Medical Director
Rehabilitation Services

In his role as Medical Director of Totally Kids’ Rehabilitation Program, Thaddeus Wilson, M.D. leads a team of caring healthcare professionals who work every day to inspire children to gain the skills, capabilities and confidence they need to achieve their greatest potential. In doing so, Dr. Wilson is practicing daily his personal mission to “live life with intention, integrity and authenticity” along with his professional objective of “displaying respect for others through meaningful and compassionate relationships.”

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Union College in Nebraska, Dr. Wilson went on to attain both his medical degree as well as a master’s in public health administration from Loma Linda University. He remained at LLU where he did his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation before completing his fellowship training at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Clinics in Kansas City.

A member of Totally Kids’ medical team since 2014, Dr. Wilson enjoys “connecting with patients and families in a long-term therapeutic relationship” and cherishes his role in “working with the innovative and dedicated team at Totally Kids to make children smile.” Among the many programs at Totally Kids that Dr. Wilson has been a part of is the development of the Totally Infants’ Program which “took the concepts utilized by the acute rehab process (a team and family-centered approach) and applied them to newborn infants who are struggling to make their milestones” to achieve results which he calls “inspiring and eye-opening.”

A true outdoorsman, counted among Dr. Wilson’s many hobbies and interests are jogging, snowboarding, scuba diving, mountain biking, slalom skiing, and off-road motorcycling.
