Before our residents headed back to school, we wanted to send summer off in style so we transformed our multipurpose room into a tropical paradise for an end-of-the-summer luau.
Leiali’inani Polynesian Dance Academy returned from last year with three amazing dancers who brought traditional Polynesian dances to life right before our eyes. Residents beamed with joy as they watched the graceful performances and felt the island spirit fill the room.
Residents danced along from their seats, staff clapped to the rhythm, and everyone shared smiles throughout the show. At the end, residents, staff, and volunteers had a special chance to take pictures with the dancers, creating treasured memories to last well beyond summer.
