On Thursday, October 31, Totally Kids hosted our much-anticipated annual Harvest Party, filling the day with costumes, delicious food, and vibrant activities that brought together our patients, their families, and our dedicated staff. From the start, the halls were filled with excitement and festive energy!
The celebration began with a colorful costume parade, where patients, staff, and families paraded around the facility, stopping by each department’s pumpkin display as they went trick-or-treating. Each team showcased their creative talents, designing unique pumpkin displays that brought joy to everyone who made the rounds. The Finance & Human Resources team stood out with their pirate-themed pumpkin display, winning this year’s Best Pumpkin award!
After the parade, the fun shifted to the multipurpose room for our annual Chili Cook-Off, where staff members put their culinary skills to the test. For the second year in a row, Julie, one of our recreation therapists, took home the award for Best Chili with her beloved recipe!
The day concluded with music, delicious food, and the much-anticipated costume awards. Jim Faust from Human Resources had everyone in stitches with his “old lady” costume, winning Best Adult Costume. In the children’s category, our patient Marilyn charmed everyone once again with her Winifred from Hocus Pocus costume, winning Best Children’s Costume for the second year in a row.
We’re so grateful to everyone who participated and made this year’s Harvest Party truly special. Each person brought creativity and enthusiasm, and we’re already excited to see what next year’s celebration will bring!
