A Labor Day Message

 

Just a few days ago one of our RN case managers called me to get approval to admit a child into our care that we might not get paid for after the first few weeks.  I heard the story and gave the OK without hesitation.  But the backstory is what this message is all about today. She told me about a chain of events leading up to this admission that was stranger than fiction.  Then I  learned of the extraordinary work done by our team to make things work out for the child in spite of the surprise events.  I also knew how our day and night-time nursing teams and therapists would have to give extra attention to make the child’s stay successful.  I love our team.  There is never a hesitation to go above and beyond.  There is always an eager anticipation of being fully engaged.

So on this beautiful day that celebrates how our labor brings fulfillment to our lives, I celebrate you, our Totally Kids, Circlebrook, and KidShip staff.  I am very proud to be working by your side to accomplish the great mission before us.
