May The Force Be With You!

In May of this year the 501st  Legion held a Star Wars event for the patients and staff at Totally Kids. 16 volunteers dressed up in full character costumes and joined us for an afternoon full of fun. Patients visited with Star Wars characters such as: Rey, Kilo Ren, Boba & Jengo fett, Stormtroopers, and Sandtroopers. There were even a few of the patients who dressed in their favorite Star Wars shirts and greeted the characters as they entered the activities room.  The patients were able to interact and take pictures with the Star Wars characters. The Star Wars characters walked around the hospital. They surprised and greeted all the patients and staff at bedside. The patients received a Star Wars trading card from each of the characters that they then could take back to their room. 

A big THANK YOU to the 501st Legion for coming out and making the patients day with a Star Wars themed afternoon! The force is strong here at Totally Kids!
