Acute Graduation Parties

Graduation parties thrown at our Acute department, are our way to honor and celebrate patients for all of their hard work and accomplishments throughout their rehabilitation stay before they are discharged. Patients chose the kind of goodies and flavors that are their favorites- cake, cupcakes, ice cream, pizza and drinks. Families and staff members are welcome to join the fun and festivities! As part of the celebration, our patients are given a Graduation Certificate and a gift on behalf of Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. We are happy to see how our patient’s progression in our program assists them in the most important goal which is to return home to be with their families.

Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital provides acute care for children, adolescents and young adults from 3 to 21 years of age who are recovering from injury, surgery or serious illness. Our ideal hospital setting of only 25 beds enables us to devote more time and attention to children in our care. Since we believe a child’s family and a positive environment play a key role in recovery, we encourage families to participate in the care and treatment of their child.  Which is what makes moments like graduation parties that much more special!
