Starting in May 2003 as a Pre-school Teacher at Kidship, a former Pediatric Day Health and Pre-School program on campus, Michelle sowed the seeds of learning and growth in young minds. Her boundless enthusiasm and passion for early education created a nurturing space where children flourished.
In August 2018, Michelle transitioned into the role of Early Intervention Coordinator in the Sub-acute unit of the Hospital. Here, her impact on child development expanded, as she played a pivotal role in helping residents overcome medical and developmental challenges, guiding them towards their full potential.
As she delved deeper into her role as an Early Intervention Coordinator, a desire for new challenges began to stir within Michelle. The prospect of pursuing nursing became increasingly appealing, especially after working closely with the nursing staff each day. Michelle took this calling seriously and enrolled in nursing school. During this time, she demonstrated incredible dedication to her studies.
Throughout her journey in nursing school, Michelle was fortunate to have experienced nurses guide her through the process, right here at Totally Kids. They generously shared their wealth of knowledge and offered invaluable tips and tricks, further fueling Michelle’s determination to excel in her new role.
In October 2023, Michelle’s hard work paid off as she proudly stepped into her new role as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
And there’s even more good news to share: Michelle was also named Employee of the Month at Totally Kids in the last quarter. This recognition underscores her exceptional dedication, hard work, and continuous commitment to the growth of herself and her colleagues.
