Our son Jacob was born with 3p Deletion Syndrome and given no more than two years to live. His infectious smile and positive attitude helped him beat those odds and enabled him to live a full and happy life until he passed away in May 2024 at the age of 12.  Although his life was cut short, the time he spent with us changed our lives forever. It wouldn’t have happened without the impeccable care and love he received at Totally Kids.

Despite living in and out of hospitals and ending up on TPN and hospice by age eight, his resilience shone through. Originally, we planned for Jacob to permanently live at Totally Kids. However, their outstanding care and teaching made us confident enough to take him home. The medical and child development staff at Totally Kids took such great care of him that we continued to use it for out-of-home respite. They became a second family to him and to us, providing peace of mind and unwavering support.

Totally Kids was a blessing and we are forever grateful for the way they helped Jacob progress and grow.
