This past weekend was one to remember at Totally Kids! We were grateful to welcome two Loma Linda University alumni, Kim and Russ Isberto, who visited on behalf of Live Like JOJO to deliver special “Sunshine Boxes” to our residents. Each box was filled with fun surprises, sensory toys, and comforting treats that brought instant smiles to the children’s faces. Kim and Russ took the time to meet each resident personally, help them explore their new treasures, and share in the joy of play. Their kindness and warmth truly brightened our halls. Thank you, Live Like JOJO, for spreading so much sunshine our way.
As if that weren’t enough magic for one weekend, the Once Upon a Time organization joined us, bringing a touch of fairytale fun for everyone. Dressed as beloved Disney characters, they spent time pampering residents with makeovers, painting nails, and singing favorite Disney songs that had everyone smiling and singing along. The participants were thrilled to meet the princesses, enjoying the music and cheerful energy that filled the room.
It was a heartwarming weekend filled with joy, compassion, and community. Moments like these remind us that a little bit of kindness and a little bit of sparkle can make a big difference.
