Interfaith Church service now offered

At Totally Kids, we are proud to support the emotional and spiritual well-being of our patients alongside their medical care. We are excited to share that Interfaith Church Services are now being offered regularly with a chaplain present.

Our first service took place this past Sunday, where residents heard a meaningful message about not being alone, received prayer, and spent time in fellowship with their peers. It created a calm and supportive space for reflection and connection.

These services are open to individuals of all faiths and beliefs. The focus is on shared themes like hope, encouragement, and resilience, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.

In a healthcare setting, opportunities like this are especially valuable. For patients, it can reduce feelings of isolation, provide comfort, and encourage social connection. For families, it offers reassurance, helps them feel connected to their child’s experience, and provides the option to speak with a chaplain for support. For staff, it offers a moment to pause, reflect, and recharge, supporting overall well-being and connection to their work.

Patients who attend will have prior family consent, and the Child Development Department will coordinate participation.

Service dates and times will be posted ahead of time. For more information, please contact the Child Development Department at 909-796-6916 x141.

We look forward to continuing to create meaningful opportunities for connection, comfort, and support for our patients, families, and staff.
