School Has Started!

When one of your patients is admitted to Totally Kids^® Pediatric Subacute they are care for as if they were at home. Our slogan “Almost Home” is reflected in the fact that residents at Totally Kids^® Pediatric Subacute attend school through the Redlands Unified School District. The Classrooms are now in the new education building located across from KidShip^® Day Health Program. Moving the location where the residents receive their education to a new building has created countless benefits, such as, larger class sizes to simulate typical socialization of students and longer time in the classroom increases the educational experience. Our residents enjoy the fresh air while being transported over to the new building providing the normal stimulation that normal daily activity generates. School times are between 8am and 2pm Monday through Friday. Residents are still being monitored by medical staff while in school. “Our” kids benefit from great team effort between the School District and staff Totally Kids.^®
