Celebrating Easter at Totally Kids: A Joyful Affair for Families and Staff

At Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, every holiday is a chance to spread joy and create unforgettable moments for our patients, their families, and our dedicated staff. This Easter was no exception as we hosted a spectacular celebration filled with laughter, fun, and heartwarming experiences.

The highlight of our Easter celebration was undoubtedly the petting zoo, where children and adults alike had the opportunity to interact with adorable animals. From llamas and ponies to bunny rabbits, piglets, and chicks, the petting zoo brought smiles to everyone’s faces. It was a delight to see the excitement and wonder in the eyes of our young patients as they petted and fed these friendly creatures.

In addition to the petting zoo, there were plenty of other activities to enjoy. Face painting added a splash of color and creativity to the festivities, while photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny were a hit among the children. We also organized an egg hunt with an astonishing 1400 eggs, thanks in large part to the generous donation from Ladonna , a former residents family member. The joy of finding Easter eggs filled with chocolates and surprises brought endless delight to our guests.

Of course, no celebration is complete without delicious food and great music. Our Easter BBQ was a mouthwatering affair, with families and staff coming together to enjoy a feast of grilled delights. The lively music added to the festive atmosphere, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the TK Staff who worked tirelessly to make this Easter celebration possible, especially the Child Development Department and Volunteers. Your dedication and passion for creating meaningful experiences for our patients and their families are truly appreciated. Your efforts have made a positive impact and brought joy to everyone involved. Thank you for all that you do.

As the day came to a close, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the moments of joy and togetherness we shared. Easter at Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital was a reminder of the power of community, compassion, and the simple joys that bring us closer together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Easter, and we look forward to creating more memorable moments in the days to come!
